The short version

Projlog exists so service companies can keep their customers informed about work those customers hired them for. Use it for that. Don't spam, don't message people without consent, don't upload unlawful content, and don't attack the platform.

Section 01

Messaging rules

The messaging, SMS, push, and email tools may only be used for communication related to work the recipient has hired you for, asked you about, or expressly agreed to hear about. Specifically, you must not:

  • send marketing or promotional blasts through project messaging tools;
  • message phone numbers or email addresses without the recipient's prior express consent;
  • buy, rent, or scrape contact lists and load them into the Service;
  • continue messaging anyone who has opted out, asked you to stop, or ended their relationship with you;
  • misrepresent who a message is from, or remove or alter sender identification;
  • use the Service to send messages on behalf of any business other than the Company account that owns the project.
Section 02

Content rules

Don't upload, post, or transmit content that:

  • is unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive;
  • infringes anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights;
  • is harassing, threatening, or hateful toward any person or group;
  • contains malware or malicious code;
  • includes sensitive personal data the Service is not designed to hold, such as health records, government ID numbers, or financial account credentials;
  • sexualizes or endangers minors, in any form. This results in immediate termination and reporting to authorities.
Section 03

Platform rules

Don't abuse the Service itself. You must not:

  • probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without written permission;
  • bypass authentication, rate limits, or usage allowances;
  • access another account's data without authorization;
  • use automated tools to scrape the Service or harvest data from portals you were not invited to;
  • resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service without a written agreement with us;
  • impersonate Projlog staff or send communications that appear to come from us.
Section 04

Fair use of allowances

Plan allowances (SMS notifications, storage, users) are sized for real service businesses. We may throttle or review accounts whose usage patterns indicate automation, resale, or list-blasting rather than project communication. We will always contact you before taking action unless the abuse is actively harming others.

Section 05

Enforcement

If an account violates this policy we may, depending on severity: warn the account owner, suspend specific features (such as messaging), suspend the account, or terminate it under the Terms of Service. Where practical we give notice and a chance to fix the problem first. We may preserve and disclose content as required by law.

Section 06

Reporting abuse

If you receive unwanted messages through Projlog or see content that violates this policy, email abuse@projlog.app with the message or a link. Text recipients can also reply STOP to halt texts immediately. We review every report.
